Friday 30th January - walks *** – Felixstowe Prom with Maeva –
cloudy and chilly.
Friday is Maeva day and she certainly brightened an otherwise dull and
chilly day with some rain! I had time to do my exercises before Mag drove
round to pick Maeva up, I then got in the van with them and we drove down
to Felixstowe Ferry to take some rainy weather pics. We had fun at home,
dancing and cooking before we packed a picnic and asked Maeva where she
wanted to go, she said she wanted waves and seagulls so we drove the short
distance to the seafront and parked at the bottom of Bent Hill. We had a
top picnic in the van watching joggers, dog walkers and old people walk
past, the sun even came out for a few minutes! Maeva is then keen to go for
a walk, we had her little bike but she did not last long on that as we set
off along the prom, lucky we had the buggy with us so could put it on that!
We had some old bread to feed the gulls which quickly disappeared, then we
turned into the Spa gardens and checked out all the ponds for fish and
there was loads too:) Back at the van before the rain returned and home, I
then went to pick her mum and Maeva continued to be on top form until her
Dad picked them up at 7.30!
PS - I nearly forgot, we spotted the Coastguard make a pile of broken
pieces of a small yacht that sunk up near the Deben a few days ago!
